John Gibbons is one of the hosts of The Anfield Wrap, a podcast and website dedicated to sharing the journey of supporting Liverpool Football Club. The Anfield Wrap has won three Football Supporters Federation awards and is twice the Silver Award winner of the Listeners Choice Award at the British Podcast Awards.

Starting in 2011 as a once a week free podcast, The Anfield Wrap launched a radio show in 2013, a subscription audio service in 2015 and a subscription video product in 2019. The Anfield Wrap produces content every day from their Liverpool office and studios, supported by 14 full time staff and over 100 contributors.
